Bangladesh's human rights leader Adv. Rabindra Ghosh has been nominated for the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize. His name has been shortlisted for the Oslo Nobel Peace Prize Committee. And his name has been proposed by a prominent human rights activist in New York, Sabyasachi Ghosh Dastidar. He is a nominee of the Nobel Peace Committee. Dr. Dastidar told the weekly Bangali that he had mentioned about her in a short discourse on his nomination papers, fighting for the core ideology of Bangladesh. This basic ideology is the formation of a secular and tolerant state towards all religions. He is fighting at the risk of his own life to save the lives of the minorities in Bangladesh. Above all, their main agenda is the establishment of human rights.

Dr. Dastidar said that after proposing the name of Rabindranath Ghosh, the Nobel Peace Committee informed that the proposal has been accepted. He said a large number of nominees for the Nobel Peace Prize are nominated each year. But not all names are accepted. The final decision will be made at the end of the long list short list from these accepted names.
