Nilima Rani Nath, a distinguished student of the Department of Physics at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology and a pride of Kulawra Upazila in Moulvibazar district, has received a full scholarship to pursue a PhD degree at Virginia State University in the United States. There, she will conduct advanced research in "Experimental Condensed Matter Physics." Nilima’s achievement is not only a personal success but also a beacon of inspiration for the country’s intellectual and research generations.

Childhood and Education:

Nilima Rani Nath was born and raised in Palgram, Kulawra Upazila, Moulvibazar district. She is the second daughter of Arun Mohan Nath (known as Arun Master) and Smriti Rani Bhowmik. Her family provided a strong foundation of education and inspiration. She passed her SSC from Rautgaon High School in 2013 and later passed HSC from Sylhet MC College in 2015. Due to her continuous hard work and success in academics, she was admitted to the Department of Physics at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology in 2015, where she completed her honors and master’s degrees with distinction.

During her studies at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Nilima achieved excellence and acquired deep knowledge in various subjects of physics.
