Suu Kyi’s right-hand man arrested National League for Dem*ocracy leader Win Heiten

He was arrested Friday morning from the girl’s home there. NLD press officer Ki Toye told the BBC he had been detained at a police station in Naypyidaw.

They say more than 130 Myanmar officials and lawmakers have been arrested in the military coup. Telecom operators have been instructed to disrupt Facebook services in Myanmar. Millions of people in Myanmar communicate with each other through Facebook.

[৪] Win Heaton was a longtime political prisoner. He has been detained at various times for protesting against the junta government. The international and Myanmar media tried to find out what Suu Kyi was thinking.




[৫] Before the arrest of Suu Kyi, Win Heiten told local English media that the army was acting recklessly. The army is leading the country astray. After the military coup, he said, the army wanted to destroy our government and take it backwards. Everyone in the country should protest as much as possible.
